Instructional design and technology are two workshops offered by Dynamic Media Services. Emerging technologies have proven to be a major influence in the development of instruction. Online learning has fast become a fundamental method of instruction for college students. Over the past decade, what was once regarded as a way of learning for adult students is now becoming increasingly popular with undergraduate learners. The online learning initiative heralded by Erskine Bowles has ushered in a new momentum in increasing the number of online courses produced by universities in the UNC system with an emphasis on quality. In light of this initiative, universities are under mandates from UNC-General Administration to provide Web support for students and to integrate technology into the curriculum.

Factors such as those illustrated above represent a need for consultants, instructional designers and any business specializing in providing training, video, audio and DVD authoring for business and academic institutions.

Classroom management continues to be a necessary component in instructing students. Before technology can be used effectively teachers must have a handle on the discipline, character and respect of their students.

Dynamic Media Services (DMS) provides consultant services on online course creation, instructional technology and classroom management that are outcome based and skills specific and on demand. DMS collaborates with the customer in creating outcome based solutions in online course creation, training and CDROM based instruction as well.Training services are also provided to companies and individuals desiring to strengthen work force development.

Excellent examples from prior teaching experience. Straight forward lingo to facilitate understanding This was a great workshop! Good activities and meaningful dialogue. Great presentation! This was a great session. All the things I learned worked wonderfully in my classroom. Every teacher should have to come here.

I learned about things I never have been exposed to. I loved the suggestions for working with African-American & Hispanic males.

Really enjoyed the session. I loved how we were able to be open about everything. People felt more comfortable to discuss with each other their strategies and other experiences.
